I am Gian Majidi, a singer songwriter based in Helsinki. I studied in the World Music Master’s Program (GLOMAS) at Arts University Helsinki. My last three albums include Mn Bo To with BaranBand as a lead singer/composer, and The Start which is my first English solo pop album, that was released on 03.09.2021 by Horus music limited. I sing in Kurdish, Persian, Italian, English, and Finnish. Meanwhile I released my instrumental album which is called The Twilight on bandcamp.com. the latest album release The Moon was released on October 7th 2022 and got a lot of good review and streams around the worlds.
My music is original due to my unique English accent and melodies which are coming from classical music mixed with the '60s and ‘70s pop and rock and roll. I have an operatic voice mixing with a gentle high voice which is rare these days. Also, my asian background plus my Marco Polo lifestyle approach (I have lived in 8 different countries and traveled over 50) influenced my persona and music. In my music, I will bring originality, color, character, and passion which the world is missing right now.
Currently, I am working on two album. Matilda; It's you is an English main stream pop album which is consists of 15 tracks.
