Gian Majidi
Kordava Production is an independent artist agency and multidisciplinary music and film production company based in Helsinki. Founded by Gian Majidi, Marouf Majidi and Lotta Heiskanen. Kordava creates international artistic projects that connect music, cinema, performance, and multicultural storytelling.
Over the years, Kordava Production has worked with musicians, performers, festivals, and independent artists through concerts, live productions, recordings, and cross-cultural collaborations between Finland and the international artistic community.
In 2025, Kordava Production completed its first independent feature film, The Soldier, a 73-minute indie drama written, directed, produced, edited, and scored by Gian Majidi. The film has already received international recognition through multiple film festival selections and awards, marking an important milestone for the company’s expansion into cinema production.
Kordava Production is currently developing new international collaborations with filmmakers, producers, distributors, festivals, and creative partners around the globe. The company is open to co-productions, artistic partnerships, soundtrack collaborations, and independent film development projects.
The next upcoming feature film from Kordava Production is A Finnish Summer, a new film directed by Gian Majidi that continues the company’s artistic vision of poetic storytelling, human relationships, and Nordic cinematic atmosphere.
